The buildings have a distinct look and a fascinating heritage. By giving Calcutta House a new lease of life, we will work to honour this.
By the 1970’s the buildings were adapted for education use. Becoming home to the City of London Polytechnic, later London Metropolitan University.
Today the buildings look tired, and the site needs to work harder for the local community.
