Consultation on improvements to community services

We were commissioned by the Local Strategic Partnership ‘Shaping Thurrock’ to carry out a community consultation exercise on the progression of the Community Strategy in the borough. It was important to our client that we acted as an impartial body which was independent from Thurrock Council and that we reached a diverse and representative group of consultees. 

We took soundings from local people, who helped us to form our consultation strategy. We distributed consultation leaflet / questionnaires throughout Thurrock. We carried out street surveys at targeted locations at all times of day. We also met with 14 community groups, where we had broad discussions as well as encouraging individuals to fill out the questionnaires.
